Kien Cuong Company was established on January 5, 2009 based on the previous basis of an individual business household that has existed since 1999 with 10 years of experience in raising wild animals, starting with ferrets. first raised on rescue milk. At first, the amount of weasel coffee collected was insignificant because the number of weasels was small and they were often sold to a few domestic enterprises.

About us: We started in 1999 with the focus on conserving endangered wild animals in Daklak province, this practice eventuated to rearing civet kittens. We gained experience throughout the next 10 years growing the civet cats population successfully. The company was officially established on the 5th of January 2009. Our initial harvest of civet coffee beans was of small scale without the processing services.

On January 7, 2010, Kien Cuong weasel coffee was granted a Product Trademark Registration Certificate.

We developed “the manual for civet coffee production” and our representative, Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong, was acknowledged for the copyright on the 13th of June 2012.

On December 27, 2011, Kien Cuong was signed by DANIDA's Global Competitiveness Foundation (GCF) to sponsor the project "Technical services for mink farming, supply of mink breeds, production and processing processing weasel coffee for export".

On the 27th of December 2011 Kien Cuong was given support from the Denmark's Business Sector Program Support Scheme (DANIDA, GCF). The aims were to improve access of coffee farmers to civet cats; to produce training and technical services for rearing the certified farm bred civet population; and to process civet coffee for export.

Since January 2012, Kien Cuong has regularly opened training classes for farmers in the Central Highlands, helping them realize that conservation is the top goal in livestock farming, and that civet coffee production is only part of the chain. techniques to meet the indispensable development needs of livestock.

Kien Cuong Company commits to further educate the local farming community to the conservation of wild animals including the civet cats, thus promoting civet coffee production as a sustainable and environmental responsible practice.
